Looking for the Savsat Black Lake took us through what we thought were the worst village roads we had traveled. However, the scenery also had its lighter side:))

From Artvin to Savsat, we made a detour to Ardanuc and saw Ferhatli Castle.
We were, by that time, inured to the scenery. Hence no photos were taken until we came to Koru restaurant which we found driving up through Artvin.
We could never figure out why the lake was called " black "
The sign for the little girls! inky dinky ha! ha! location was correctly placed for calls of nature.
The road to Borcka Black Lake was a piece of cake in comparison to the Camili road. It also had its share of waterfalls, although, we are not sure if this one adorned the Karagol ( black lake) way.
I started enjoying taking photographs not related to my family since my daughters grew up and started complaining too much.
I love traveling and also sitting at the balcony of our home, with my coffee or wine, watching the traffic on the bosphorus and taking photoghraphs of ships, sunsets,the moon, the first bosphorus bridge, sailing boats and fireworks.
